Egypt Top Light Travel is a family-run tour company based in Giza, a few minutes from the Pyramids, planning private Egypt journeys since 2010. Most of our guests travel from the United States, and everything we do, from the first WhatsApp message to the airport goodbye, is built around one goal: making a long trip to Egypt feel easy, safe and genuinely personal.

A Family Business, Not a Booking Platform

The people who answer your first questions are the same people who plan your days, brief your guide and check in on you while you travel. We do not resell coach tours or put you on a bus with strangers: every itinerary is private, built for your own party and adjusted as you go. Since 2010 we have hosted more than 12,000 travellers this way, and we still treat every booking as if it were family coming to visit.

Built Around Travellers From the United States

We know what the trip involves from the US side: a long-haul flight, jet lag on day one, questions about visas and safety, and only so many vacation days. So we walk you through the Egypt e-visa or visa on arrival, meet you at Cairo Airport, keep the first day gentle, and stay reachable on WhatsApp 24/7, whatever time it is back home. We also design heritage journeys for Black and African American travellers, families, women travelling together and HBCU alumni groups, led by guides who know the history of Kemet and Nubia in depth.

Egypt Top Light Travel is licensed by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities as a tourism company (licence no. 2051) and is an IATA-accredited travel agency (IATA code 90-2 1532 2). Mostafa Ahmed, Egyptologist Guide. Guides travellers through Egypt’s temples and archaeological sites, from Giza and Saqqara to Karnak and the Valley of the Kings, and writes most of our itinerary and ancient-history guides.

Mohammed Hossam, Egyptologist Guide. Specialises in Nubian, Kushite and Black heritage history along the Nile — the history at the heart of our heritage journeys for Black and African American travellers.

Ahmed Ibrahim, Travel Specialist. Handles the practical side of a trip to Egypt: visas, safety, budgeting, timing and getting around, and writes our travel-planning guides.
